Description
When your clutch pedal starts feeling spongy or you can’t get smooth gear changes out in the field, chances are your clutch slave cylinder is giving up on you. This little hydraulic workhorse is what converts the pressure from your clutch pedal into the force needed to disengage your clutch properly. When it fails, you’re looking at grinding gears, difficult shifting, or a clutch that won’t release completely – problems that can sideline your tractor right when you need it most.
What You’re Getting
- Precision-engineered 25.4mm piston that maintains proper hydraulic pressure for smooth clutch operation
- Quality seals that resist wear and prevent fluid leaks even under demanding farm conditions
- Direct replacement design that fits exactly like the original factory part
- Compatible with DOT 4 brake and clutch fluid for reliable hydraulic system performance
Built for Real Farm Work
This slave cylinder is built specifically for Deutz Agrostar tractors – from the utility-sized 4.61 and 4.71 models up through the bigger 6-series machines. Whether you’re working with a standard Agrostar or one of the Freisicht models with their improved visibility, this cylinder handles the constant cycling that comes with fieldwork, loader operations, and implement changes.
Made to Last
Farm equipment hydraulics take a beating from temperature swings, vibration, and thousands of clutch cycles. This cylinder features robust construction with quality internal components that maintain consistent performance season after season. The precision-honed bore and reliable seals keep your clutch system operating smoothly even when you’re putting in long days during planting or harvest.
Good to Know
You’ll need to bleed the clutch hydraulic system after installation to remove any air – bubbles in the line will give you that spongy pedal feel and poor clutch operation. While you’ve got the system open, it’s a good time to check your clutch master cylinder and flush the old brake fluid with fresh DOT 4. Keep some extra fluid on hand since the bleeding process uses more than you might expect.
