Description
When your disc gang starts wobbling or making that grinding noise that makes you cringe, it’s time for new bearings. This AgSmart disc bearing is built to handle the side loads and impacts that come with working through heavy residue, rocky soils, and tough field conditions. A failed bearing means uneven tillage and potential catastrophic failure during critical field prep time.
What You’re Getting
- Greasable design lets you maintain it yourself instead of replacing it every season
- 1-3/4 inch round bore fits your Landoll and Sunflower axles perfectly
- 100mm outer diameter provides the load capacity needed for disc gang operations
- Cylindrical outer race design handles the forces of cutting through stubble and soil
- Direct replacement for OEM part numbers – no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This bearing fits Sunflower 1232 Crumbler and 1230, 1430, 1434 disc harrows, plus Landoll equipment with 1-3/4 inch round axles. These are the workhorses that break up compaction, incorporate residue, and prepare your seedbed. Whether you’re working corn stalks in the fall or getting ground ready for spring planting, this bearing handles the job.
Made to Last
The bearing itself is designed specifically for disc applications, with superior sealing to keep dirt out and grease in. Pack it with quality disc bearing grease, not general purpose. The greasable design means you can extend bearing life with regular maintenance instead of running them until they fail.
Installation Notes
Replacing a disc bearing assembly is dirty work but manageable with basic tools. Start by marking the gang position before disassembly to maintain proper disc spacing. Check the shaft for wear where the bearing rides; a grooved shaft will quickly destroy your new bearing. While you have the gang apart, inspect all bearings on that shaft since they typically wear at similar rates.
