Built for Classic Ford Workhorses
This drive assembly fits right into the heart of your Ford 2000, 3000, 4000, or 5000 series gas engine tractors. These are the dependable machines that have been handling farm chores for decades—from hay work and light cultivation to loader duties around the barn. Whether your tractor spends its days mowing pastures or moving equipment around the yard, reliable starting is what keeps you productive.
Made to Last
The gear reduction design gives more power for hard to start tractors, which is exactly what you need on those cold mornings or when your engine’s getting up in years. The robust construction handles the daily punishment of frequent starts and the vibration that comes with farm work. Quality components mean this drive will keep engaging reliably season after season.
Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement that fits starter D0NF11001A applications. Use 2 bolts and tab washers to attach spring 1860639 and drive lug from your older starter drive—you’ll need to transfer these parts from your old unit. While you’ve got the starter out, it’s a good time to clean the connections and check your battery cables. A little preventive maintenance now saves headaches later.
