Installation Notes

This is a direct spin-on replacement that threads right onto your existing filter base. Before installing, make sure to clean the filter base mounting surface and apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic fluid to the filter gasket. Hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the base, then turn an additional 3/4 turn—no need for a filter wrench unless the old one is stuck.
