Description
When your tractor starts running rough or you’re getting hard starts on cold mornings, there’s a good chance your fuel filter is clogged with water and debris that’s been sitting in your tank. A clean fuel filter keeps your engine running smooth and protects those expensive injection components from damage. This filter catches all the gunk before it can damage your expensive fuel system components.

Built for Real Farm Work
This Baldwin PF816 filter works across Ford tractors, Perkins engines, Massey Ferguson equipment, and marine applications from Westerbeke. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for loader work, a row-crop machine for field operations, or equipment with Perkins power, clean fuel is absolutely critical for keeping your tractor running smoothly, especially with today’s high-pressure injection systems that don’t tolerate dirt and water very well. From small farm tractors to construction equipment, this filter handles the demanding work these machines do every day.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they know what it takes to handle farm conditions. The filter media is designed to trap water and particles while maintaining proper fuel flow, and the housing stands up to temperature swings and engine vibration. The spin-on design provides better sealing than older bowl-type filters while making maintenance quicker and cleaner.
Installation Notes
This is a straightforward spin-on replacement that threads right onto your existing filter mount. Always relieve fuel system pressure before removing the old filter, and have a drain pan ready to catch any spillage. Hand-tighten the new filter until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn it an additional 3/4 turn. Prime the system after installation to remove any air pockets, and check for leaks before putting the machine back to work.
