Installation Notes
The O-ring that comes with this filter must be installed on the standpipe post for a proper seal – don’t skip this step or you’ll have fuel leaks. Spin the filter on hand-tight plus three-quarters of a turn, and remember to fill the filter with clean diesel before installation to minimize air in the system. Always relieve fuel system pressure before removal and have a drain pan ready.
