Description
When you’re splicing cable on your hay baler, fixing a broken winch line, or rigging up a temporary pull for that stuck implement, you need clips that’ll hold when it counts. These zinc-plated malleable wire rope clips give you a solid connection that won’t let you down when you’re putting some real tension on that 3/16″ cable.
What You’re Getting
- Malleable construction that flexes under load instead of snapping like cast clips
- Zinc plating fights rust and corrosion from weather and hydraulic fluid
- Designed specifically for 3/16″ cable diameter for a proper, secure fit
- Comes 100 per carton so you’ll have plenty on hand for repairs and projects
Built for Real Farm Work
These clips work great on balers, hay rakes, manure spreaders, and anywhere else you’ve got 3/16″ cable that needs splicing or looping. Whether you’re replacing worn cables on implements or rigging up a field repair, they handle the job. You’ll also find them handy around the shop for winch repairs and custom rigging work.
Made to Last
The malleable construction means these clips bend rather than break under stress, which is exactly what you want when you’re pulling hard on something. The zinc plating keeps them looking good and working properly even after seasons of exposure to moisture, mud, and chemicals.
Good to Know
Remember to use three clips for maximum holding strength on any splice – don’t try to get by with just one or two. Space them about six cable diameters apart, and always put the saddle on the live side of the cable, not the dead end. A little cable lube on the threads makes installation easier and helps prevent galling.
