Description
When your compressor or heavy equipment is running hard all day, nothing beats clean oil for keeping those expensive internal components protected. Your engine oil gets worked hard—picking up dirt, metal particles, and combustion byproducts that can turn premium oil into engine-damaging sludge. This Baldwin B378 filter steps up to handle the demanding work your compressors and equipment do, keeping oil clean and flowing where it needs to go.
What You’re Getting
- Large 8 23/32 inch length provides maximum filtration capacity for extended service intervals
- 3 11/16 inch outer diameter fits industrial equipment that demands heavy-duty filtration
- 1 1/4 – 12 thread size ensures secure mounting on high-pressure applications
- Baldwin construction that handles the vibration and pressure spikes common in compressor work
- Quality filter media that captures contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow
Built for Industrial Work
This filter is designed for the demanding world of air compressors and industrial equipment where reliability isn’t optional. Gardner Denver, Ingersoll-Rand, and LeRoi compressors work in dusty, demanding environments where clean oil keeps expensive components running smooth. Whether you’re running shop air, powering pneumatic tools, or handling heavy-duty compression work, this filter protects the investment you’ve made in quality equipment.
Made to Last
Baldwin builds this filter to handle the temperature swings, vibration, and pressure changes that come with heavy equipment operation. The robust construction and quality filter media are engineered to handle the harsh realities of industrial work—constant operation, temperature extremes, and the kind of abuse that would overwhelm lesser filters.
Installation Notes
Before threading on the new filter, wipe a thin coat of clean oil on the gasket, then hand-tighten only 3/4 turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening just makes the next change harder and can damage the seal. Check your equipment’s service manual for recommended change intervals, but don’t wait if you notice oil pressure dropping or the filter looking dirty during routine inspections.
