You’re getting Tru-Power quality components that meet or exceed original specifications. The cylinder sleeves are properly sized at 3-5/16 inch outer diameter with the correct seal configuration. The flat-head pistons are built for the compression ratio these engines were designed around, and the valve components handle the longer 4-25/32 inch valve length these engines require.
Good to Know
This is a complete overhaul kit minus the bearings, which you’ll need to order separately based on your crankshaft measurements. It’s a good idea to have your machine shop check the crank and rods while the engine’s apart. The overbore pistons give you options if the cylinders need more than standard cleanup. Plan on a weekend or two for the work if you’re doing it yourself.
