Description
When your clutch pedal starts feeling spongy or you notice brake fluid leaks around the master cylinder, it’s time to address the problem before you’re stuck in the field with a clutch that won’t disengage. This repair kit gets your hydraulic clutch system back to that firm, responsive feel you need for smooth gear changes and safe operation. Instead of replacing the whole master cylinder, this kit lets you rebuild what you have with all new seals and components.
What You’re Getting
- Complete seal kit that stops leaks and restores proper hydraulic pressure
- Precision-molded components designed specifically for agricultural hydraulic systems
- OEM-quality parts that handle the demanding cycles of farm work
- Everything needed for a professional rebuild without buying a whole new cylinder
- Compatible with both LHM fluid systems found on these tractors
Built for Real Farm Work
This kit fits the clutch master cylinders on Case IH 85 Series utility tractors and CX Series models – machines that see heavy use in everything from loader work to field operations. These tractors span multiple series including 85 Series, 95 Series, CX Series, and utility models that rely on precise clutch control for safety when operating implements or navigating tight spaces around the farmyard.
Made to Last
These seals are engineered to withstand the unique demands of agricultural hydraulic systems, including higher operating pressures, extended service intervals, and exposure to agricultural contaminants. The materials are specifically formulated to work with the mineral oil-based hydraulic fluid these systems require, preventing the premature failure you’d get with standard automotive parts.
Good to Know
This is a job for someone comfortable working with hydraulic systems – you’ll need to completely disassemble and rebuild the master cylinder. Critical safety note: This system requires LHM mineral oil brake fluid only – never use DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5 brake fluids as they will damage seals. Always flush the entire system with fresh LHM fluid after repair. Plan to bench-bleed the rebuilt cylinder before installation and take your time with the bleeding process to get all the air out.
