Description
Nothing ruins a good day of work like a hand brake that won’t hold when you’re parked on a slope or loading implements. When that brake pedal goes soft or your tractor starts creeping when it should stay put, worn brake linings are usually the culprit. This replacement lining gets your parking brake back to grabbing like it should, so you can trust it to keep your tractor where you leave it.
What You’re Getting
- 19mm thick friction material that provides strong, reliable stopping power
- Heat-resistant construction that won’t fade during heavy braking
- Proper thickness ensures optimal contact with brake drum surface
- Quality materials that resist wear from dust and moisture
Built for Real Farm Work
This lining fits the hand brake systems on your John Deere utility tractors from the 30, 40, 50, and 41 series. Whether you’re using a 3040 for loader work, a 3350 for heavy field operations, or any of the other models in between, these are the same tractors that have been the backbone of American agriculture for decades.
Made to Last
Farm brakes take a beating from dust, heat, and constant use. This lining is built with friction materials that handle the temperature swings and contaminants that come with real farm work. The 19mm thickness gives you plenty of material for long service life and consistent braking performance.
Good to Know
This is the outer brake lining – if you need the inner linings, that’s part number 58927. The rivets for installation are separate (part 58794). When you’re doing brake work, it’s smart to replace both inner and outer linings at the same time for even braking. Always check your brake drums for scoring or excessive wear while you’ve got things apart.
