Description
Ever get tired of shutting down your sprayer to clean out a plugged strainer right in the middle of your best spraying weather? This self-cleaning strainer does the dirty work for you, using your pump’s own flow to keep debris moving instead of building up on the screen. It protects spray tip orifices from clogging and damage while extending your time in the field.
What You’re Getting
- Continuous self-cleaning action that uses excess pump flow to wash debris away from the screen
- 50-mesh stainless steel screen that catches the right size particles without restricting flow too much
- Tapered inner cylinder design that creates high-velocity wash flow past the screen face
- Durable construction that handles agricultural chemicals and field conditions
- Direct mount on your pump discharge line—no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This strainer mounts right on the discharge side of your sprayer pump where it can use excess flow to keep itself clean. It’s designed for spray systems where you need consistent flow without constant maintenance stops. The 1-inch NPT connections fit most standard sprayer setups, from pull-type field sprayers to three-point mounted units.
Made to Last
The stainless steel screen won’t corrode from chemical exposure, and the housing is built to handle the pressure and vibration that comes with sprayer operation. TeeJet has been making spray components for decades, so you know this strainer is engineered to hold up to daily use in tough conditions.
Good to Know
For the self-cleaning feature to work properly, you need at least 6 gallons per minute flowing through the bypass line back to your tank. Most sprayer pumps put out enough excess flow to handle this requirement, but it’s worth checking your pump specs. Mount it where you can easily see the bypass line flow—that tells you the cleaning action is working.
