Description
When you’re running your Komatsu machine hard all day—whether it’s digging foundations, clearing brush, or loading trucks—clean oil is what keeps that engine from turning into an expensive paperweight. A dirty or clogged oil filter lets contaminants circulate through your engine’s bearings and cylinders, causing wear that’ll cost you thousands more than a simple filter change. This Baldwin B7051 filter keeps your oil clean and your machine running strong when you’ve got deadlines to meet.
What You’re Getting
- Anti-drainback valve that keeps oil in the filter when you shut down, giving you instant lubrication on startup
- 30 PSID bypass valve ensures oil keeps flowing even if the filter gets loaded with debris
- Built-in standpipe design for reliable oil circulation and proper filtration
- Heavy-duty construction with 4 1/4 inch outer diameter and nearly 6-inch length for serious filtration capacity
- 1 1/8-16 thread size for secure mounting and easy installation
Built for Real Construction Work
This filter is designed specifically for Komatsu construction equipment that sees daily abuse on job sites. From compact excavators and wheel loaders to bulldozers and backhoe loaders, this filter handles the dust, vibration, and long operating hours that come with construction and earthmoving work.
Made to Last
Baldwin filters are built to handle the harsh realities of equipment operation—temperature swings, vibration, and constant exposure to contaminants that would overwhelm lesser filters. The quality filter media captures particles while maintaining proper oil flow, protecting your engine’s expensive internal components from premature wear.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that threads right onto your engine. Before installing the new filter, wipe a thin coat of clean oil on the gasket, then hand-tighten only three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening just makes the next change harder and can damage the seal.
