Installation Notes
Before disconnecting the old harness, take a photo of which wire goes where—it’ll save you time during installation. Clean all the connection points while you’re in there, and make sure the safety switch itself (part number 43762) is working properly. Proper adjustment is critical—the switch must activate only when the shuttle lever is in true neutral, not just close. Never bypass safety switches even temporarily, and while you’re replacing this one, it’s a good time to test your seat switch and PTO safety switch too.
