This is a spin-on style filter that threads directly onto your equipment’s filter head—no tools needed beyond your hands for installation. Apply a thin coat of clean diesel to the gasket before threading it on, then hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface plus another three-quarters turn. Over-tightening can damage the gasket and cause leaks.
