Description
When your equipment starts running rough, losing power, or acting sluggish under load, there’s a good chance dirty fuel is to blame. Water, dirt, and debris find their way into fuel tanks and head straight for those expensive injection pumps and injectors. This Baldwin fuel filter catches all that contamination before it can cause costly damage, keeping your diesel engine running clean and strong.
What You’re Getting
- Integral post seal design prevents bypass and ensures all fuel flows through the filter media
- 4 3/8 inch length with 3 11/16 inch diameter provides adequate filtration capacity for demanding applications
- 3/4-16 thread size matches factory specifications for secure, leak-free mounting
- Quality filter media traps water and particles while maintaining proper fuel flow to the engine
- Durable construction handles pressure fluctuations and vibration from heavy equipment operation
Built for Heavy-Duty Work
This filter serves a wide range of equipment including Case construction machines, Hitachi excavators, Kawasaki engines, and various truck applications from Chevrolet, GMC, and Isuzu. Whether you’re running an excavator on a construction site, operating a loader in tough conditions, or maintaining fleet trucks that haul equipment to job sites, clean fuel delivery is critical for reliable operation when downtime isn’t an option.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making quality filters for decades, and this one’s engineered to handle the punishment that construction and heavy equipment dishes out. The robust housing stands up to temperature swings, engine vibration, and the constant pressure changes that come with hard work, while the quality gasket ensures a leak-free seal that won’t fail when you need it most.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that installs in minutes with basic tools. Apply a thin coat of clean diesel fuel to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening can damage the gasket and cause leaks, so resist the urge to crank it down with a wrench.
