Installation Notes

Before installation, make sure your system is clean – contamination is the number one killer of hydraulic pumps. Flush the system if you’ve had a pump failure to remove any metal particles. Check your pump drive coupling for wear while you’re in there – a worn coupling can damage your new pump quickly. Prime the pump with clean hydraulic oil before startup to prevent dry running. Most experienced operators can swap this pump in about 2 hours.
