 The STIHL ROLLOMATIC® ES Light guide bar has up to 30% less weight in comparison with STIHL ROLLOMATIC® E Super guide bars. In order to reduce weight; long channels are milled out of the center of a solid guide bar, then a thin steel plate of the same steel is welded over the channels using a special laser welding process.
