Installation Notes

This is a direct spin-on replacement—just remove the old filter and thread on the new one. Hand tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn another 3/4 turn. Don’t over-tighten or you’ll damage the gasket and create a leak. A little oil on the gasket makes installation easier.
