This kit fits International Harvester 300 series tractors (serial number 48049 and up) with the 4-cylinder, 169 cubic inch gas engine. These were dependable workhorses that handled everything from cultivating to hay work, and they’re still earning their keep on farms today. The 3-9/16 inch standard bore size keeps things original, but you get the 3-5/8 inch overbore supplies if your cylinders need it.

Good to Know

This is a basic kit, so you’ll need to have your crankshaft checked and order main and rod bearings separately based on what your machinist finds. Most folks have the block tanked and decked while they’re at it. The overbore sleeves give you options if your cylinders are worn beyond standard specs.
